Rovaro LLC ("Rovaro", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Rovaro mobile
application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose,
and safeguard your information when you use our app. By using Rovaro, you
agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not
use the app.

We collect your city-level location during onboarding to calculate
drive-time based matching. We do not continuously track your precise GPS
location. You may update your city at any time in your profile settings.
We use the information we collect to:
Your profile information — including photos, display name, age, city,
bio, and interests — is visible to other users in the app. Your email
address and precise location are never shared with other users.
We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in
operating the app:
These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only
to provide services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or
governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to
protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of
Rovaro LLC's assets, your information may be transferred as part of that
transaction. We will notify you via in-app notification or email before
your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different
privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third
parties for their marketing purposes.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is
active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may delete
your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. Upon
deletion, we will:

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional
rights including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or
object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data
portability. Our legal basis for processing is your consent (for profile
data and matching) and legitimate interests (for safety and fraud
prevention). To exercise your rights, contact us at legal@rovaro.app.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your
information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure
authentication, and role-based access controls on our database. However,
no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us
immediately at legal@rovaro.app.
Rovaro is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have
collected information from a user under 18, we will delete that
information promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected
information from a minor, please contact us at legal@rovaro.app.
The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are
not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We
encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any
information to them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you
of material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating
the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use
of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the
updated policy.
